We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Sushi Chef to join a modern, sustainability-driven restaurant concept in NW Portland & NE Portland.

What You’ll Do
- Masterfully craft sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes with precision and creativity.
- Uphold a philosophy of sustainability—working with responsibly sourced seafood and local ingredients.
- Lead, train, and inspire a dedicated culinary team in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance menus, elevate standards, and deliver unforgettable guest experiences.
- Maintain operational excellence, from food safety and prep to presentation and consistency.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of professional experience in sushi preparation, with strong knife and filleting skills.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in high-volume dining environments.
- A culinary artist who values sustainability, seasonality, and authenticity.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure.
- A passionate leader who thrives in a guest-first culture.
