We are looking for an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract position offers part-time hours with flexibility, requiring a commitment of approximately 20-21 hours per week across three days. The ideal candidate will possess strong bookkeeping and accounting expertise, demonstrating proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial reporting. This role is 100% on site
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
• Prepare financial statements, income statements, and other reports to provide insights into the organization's financial health.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure records align with bank statements.
• Utilize QuickBooks for data entry and financial management tasks.
• Organize and maintain a cloud-based filing system for all company records.
• Handle payroll taxes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist with administrative duties and database management as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or financial concerns.
• Provide support during clean-up periods to ensure all records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and its functionalities.
• Proficiency in Excel, including handling complex spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ability to prepare detailed financial statements and reports.
• Comfortable working with cloud-based systems and paperless environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members.
