Position is located in Brainerd, MN. No remote work option is available.

MATERIAL & WAREHOUSE OPERATION:

· Plan, organize, supervise & participate in daily warehouse operation activities.

· Supervise the receipt, documentation, storage, safety & distribution of equipment, supplies and maintenance of inventory.

· Enforce proper inventory procedures and ensure timely transactions by Warehouse personnel, while conducting regular cycle counts.

PROCESS:

· Ensures proper documentation of processes, equipment, systems, employee relation issues, Investigations

· Lead warehouse sanitation/5S activities

· Develop and recommend departmental budgets while ensuring budget compliance.

LOGISTICS:

· Coordination of freight/courier for company and our customers

· Attain and assess freight/courier rates for company and our customers

LEADING PEOPLE:

· Provides accurate and timely feedback to coworkers and to direct reports. Conducts 90-day and annual performance reviews on time. Creates clear Individual Development Plans and follows through with action plans.

· Effective listening and communication skills include using discretion and appropriate language with individuals across multiple departments. Utilizes multiple methods of conveying information to be effective.

· Cascades information within the department as directed. Responds to conflict by using effective conflict-resolution skills to find solutions.

· Educates, presents to, and trains groups of people on subject matter that improves and elevates the audience's skill or knowledge. Utilizes various techniques and methods appropriate for the audience.

LEADING WORK:

· Coordinates action and creates realistic goals and milestones for assignment completion and decisions with a time horizon of <30 days.

· Understands how own individual department’s work impacts business success. Manages assigned expenses within budget.

· Seeks out opportunities to conduct investigative research to understand root causes and underlying issues. Anticipates issues and takes proactive steps to solve problems. Proposes strategies and clear execution and communication plans to navigate complex issues.

· Bring new, original, or unconventional approaches to doing work that are appropriate for the situation.

LEADING SELF:

· Participates in learning activities for new skills or knowledge beyond current role.

· Recognizes levels of emotion with others and provides methods to de-escalate emotional social situations and put others at ease. Adapts well to new social environments and remains composed in stressful situations.

· Regularly attends Lexington company and social functions. Actively engages and interacts with others across departments monthly at minimum to make personal connections and to help others feel a sense of belonging.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Requires 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Manufacturing and Warehousing environment using automated shipping routines, MRP software systems.

Experience and/or Training: Must have the skills and experience in shipping products in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Freight Logistics and traffic management required.

Technology/Equipment: Proficient in Microsoft Office software’s and general computer literacy is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to stand for 8-12 hours. (Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching). Must be able to withstand repetitive movements. Must be able to lift 40lbs sporadically unassisted.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

· Due to loud noise and dust levels, hearing and eye protection are required. The conditions and materials used may be dirty. The warehouse environment may have varied hot and cold temperatures. Must be able to tolerate some weather-related heat and/or humidity. Must be able to tolerate some paint smells.
