This opportunity is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting in Saint Johns, FL. The position is a contract role covering the current school year, offering a chance to work directly with students across various grade levels to address speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade, focusing on mild to moderate levels of need.
- Manage an estimated caseload of up to 60 students, with caseload specifics to be confirmed.
- Provide services itinerantly across multiple school sites within the district.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies and licensure requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Florida Department of Health SLP licensure required.
- Experience working with school-aged children (Pre-K through 12) in speech-language pathology.
- Ability to manage a caseload effectively, with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to working on-site exclusively.
