Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist or Social Worker position is available in the northern suburbs of Denver, supporting a smaller district with approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites. This role is based at a Pre-K through 8th-grade site where the provider will work primarily with mild to moderate students, including some Pre-K assignments. The school psychologist or social worker will act as case manager, providing essential counseling services, conducting assessments and evaluations, and collaborating with IEP teams to meet student needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage caseload as the primary case manager for students requiring IEP services
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to support educational planning
  • Deliver individualized counseling and intervention services to mild-to-moderate need students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and families, to develop and implement effective IEPs
  • Maintain regular communication and documentation related to students progress and IEP requirements

Qualifications:

  • Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential or in active progress toward obtaining it
  • Awareness and readiness to fulfill case management responsibilities, which are a primary duty of this role
  • Candidates new to the profession as well as those with experience are welcome to apply
  • Relocation candidates are encouraged but should communicate their relocation timeline clearly
  • Note: The district does not accept VOCO or hybrid credentialing options

Interview Process:

  • First interview: Screening via Teams with the director of integrated services (about 15-30 minutes)
  • Second interview: Panel interview, preferably in person but flexible for virtual participation (approx. 30-45 minutes)
