Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for events.
- Manage event budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring costs remain within budget constraints.
- Research, negotiate, and secure venues and vendors such as caterers, decorators, and audio-visual providers.
- Create detailed event timelines and checklists to ensure all aspects of the event are planned and executed efficiently.
- Coordinate logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and on-site management during events to ensure everything runs smoothly
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an event coordinator or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
