Blackout Coffee Co. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator to support the daily operations of our warehouse. This position plays a key role in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse, inventory and ERP system experience and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight carriers, and logistics partners to schedule deliveries and pickups.
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and completeness.
- Maintain organized warehouse space, ensuring items are properly staged, labeled, and stored.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety regulations.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory levels using MRP/ERP systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure optimal stock levels and reorder points.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to maintain product freshness and accuracy.
Coordination & Communication
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to track and confirm deliveries.
- Assist with preparing shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, etc.)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 2–3 years of warehouse, inventory and MRP/ERP experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Strong mathematical skills
- Proficient with basic computer systems; knowledge of ERP systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties.
- Experience with forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment operation
- Ability to uphold Safety standards, participate in Continuous Process Improvement on the job, and follow our Manufacturing best practices
- Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $20.00/hr to $25.00/hr (based on experience)
- Schedule:
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Monday-Friday (Saturdays when needed)
