Volt is immediately hiring a Bilingual Vietnamese Shipping Office Assistant for immediate hire.

As a Shipping Office Assistant, you will:

  • May at times be required to communicate with Vietnamese speaking vendors and carriers
  • Process PGI, RTV, RMA and Sale return shipments
  • Process international and domestics LTL and FTL materials shipments
  • Process domestic, international shipments and book shipment on FedEx, UPS, DHL, XPO
  • Meet all International ISPM15 requirement during packing prior pickup schedule
  • Follow up with carrier regarding any inquiry needed such POD
  • Communicate with carriers for BOLs , trucking info and drivers info, cross check when drivers and trucks arrived on site
  • Responsible for GPS devices in operating mode (Fully charge battery) and assigns to each truckload accordingly
  • Inform carrier all GPS devices routes back to QMF once it reaches DCs
  • Prepare the pull lists based on PMC’s email regarding about outgoing shipments and prepare the match lists for final cross check before loading
  • Provide any inquiring info needed from outbound load such as GPS devices, tracking number and shipment progress to DC’s personnel or Customer’s security team
  • Receive and process materials passed over from WH per shipment requirement

Position is temp to hire. Hours are 8am – 5pm but requires you can work overtime (up to 12 hours per day at times) and weekends as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1 year of more related experience in shipping and receiving
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Ability to stand/move duration of shift
  • Bilingual Vietnamese required due to communication with carriers and vendors

Pay Rate: $21.50/hr

** Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
