We are currently recruiting for a Screen Press Support to join our 1st Shift Production team at our Cypress MultiGraphics facility in Brooklyn Center, MN!
Responsibilities:
Interpret the job jacket for information required to run the job.
Assist with setting up the press machine.
Helped produce high-quality labels that met the job specifications outlined in the label and matched customer standards.
Capable of a high level of attention to detail.
Keep press and work areas clean and neat, and keep inventory usage accurate at all times
Fill out the necessary documentation, i.e., SP- I checklist
Keeps work areas clean and organized; maintains housekeeping standards
Produce screens and follow the screening procedure as needed
Follow ISO 9002 procedures for the department and the company
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of three years or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
One year of previous experience operating a press in a printing environment, preferably a screen press
Knowledge of screen printing, print inks and materials.
Must be able to read and interpret ruler, scales and other measurement devices.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and frequently is required to walk
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
May also participate in vendor sponsored training programs
