RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Work in a combined Medical Surgical Unit and Progressive Care Unit with both MSU and PCU status patients
\n• Patient ratios: 1:4 for Progressive Care Unit patients, 1:5 for Medical/Surgical patients
\n• Every other weekend (EOW) schedule required
\n• First to float to Telemetry and Medical Surgical units
\n• Up to 2 extra shifts required per 6 weeks
\n• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
\n• Must have active nursing license to submit
\n• BSN degree not required
\n• Charting system: EPIC
\n• Acute care setting
\n• Trauma Level 3 facility
\n• Client can provide 2-week notice and call off up to 48 hours per 13 weeks cancellation policy

The facility features a newly established combined Medical Surgical and Progressive Care Unit designed to accommodate varying levels of patient acuity. The organization utilizes EPIC charting systems and maintains modern medical technology to support quality patient care across multiple specialty units.
