We are seeking a talented and passionate Mechanical Designer II to join our growing team. As a Designer, you will play a key role in creating innovative and impactful design solutions that elevate the lives of our users/clients. You will work closely with the project engineer and other team members to translate concepts into compelling and user-friendly designs.
Key Responsibility and Expertise
- Proficient in designing and drafting mechanical and plumbing systems including:
Ductwork, Piping, Sanitary systems, Domestic water, Medical gas, Compressed air, Natural gas
And Water heating systems
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and evaluate design concepts.
- Assess feasibility of design ideas based on safety, function, and serviceability.
- Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and sketches using Revit software.
- Develop construction documents and coordinate intermittent submissions.
- Work closely with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integration.
- Conduct field investigations and site visits.
- Skilled in determining optimal routing and sizing of systems.
- High proficiency in computer-aided design tools and software.
Salary Range: $60,000 - 95,000 per year
This is an in-office position with an open concept
Qualifications:
Healthcare Experience is required
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and working toward professional licensure (PE) (Preferred)
Experience: 4+ years as a mechnical designer
Computer Skills: Revit, Auto CAD MEP, AutoCAD MEP, MS Office Suite, Trane TOPSS, Trace 3D
Travel: up to 10% depending on project
