Help deliver energy-saving construction projects that make buildings smarter, safer, and more sustainable.
Our client seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) across complex building and energy systems projects. You’ll oversee field teams, subcontractors, schedules, budgets, safety, and client satisfaction—driving projects from planning through commissioning and closeout.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and provide oversight for Associate Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractor personnel
- Oversee implementation of a comprehensive set of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs)
- Manage client relationships and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and manage project schedules, bid processes, and subcontract negotiations
- Manage projects in accordance with budget, including:

- Reviewing/approving expenditures
- Reviewing/approving subcontractor draw requests
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with COMPANY and site-specific safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Assist with site safety program implementation and enforce safety expectations on-site
- Lead on-site safety and quality control programs
- Identify unknown risks, assess impacts, and implement mitigation plans
- Drive technical due diligence through implementation by managing risks such as:

- technical and construction risk
- pricing, schedule, and environmental constraints
- warranties and performance guarantees
- Implement measurement-based monitoring & verification (M&V) plans/protocols
- Support commissioning protocols and post-implementation O&M (operations & maintenance) plans
- Assist with project and business development responsibilities during development and implementation
- Flex to irregular work hours during implementation when needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or Construction Management preferred) OR equivalent of 15+ years of related experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in construction project management or project engineering
- Experience in building construction and energy systems such as:

- HVAC, controls, central utilities
- electrical, site work, and M&P
- Working competency with Project Management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing energy systems projects, including performance contracts
- OSHA-30 certification (preferred)
- Commissioning experience and strong project controls (logs, reports, documentation)
