Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of recent OR and ER experience and required state licensure.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a Level 2 trauma center, rotating through the Emergency Department, Operating Room, fluoro, and orthopedic office
- Primary workload consists of OR and portable x-rays, including routine chest, ortho, neuro (with O-arm), urology, bronch, and pain management cases
- Ortho office includes three general x-ray rooms
- Fluoro duties include modified barium swallows and some arthrograms
- Shift is 5x8 hour days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Floating may be required based on facility needs
- Uses Epic EMR; experience preferred
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Candidates cannot work Riverside travel and per diem contracts simultaneously
- Prior permanent employees must be gone at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
- Keep time off requests to a minimum, preferably no calendar week off and no more than seven days total; all requests must be submitted with application
- Locals are accepted at the same base rate

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist required
- OR and ER experience required
- Experience with portable x-ray, C-Arm, and contrast procedures required
- Current ARRT certification and valid state radiologic technologist license required; license required if applicable
- Specialty experience must have been within the past year
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Must provide one supervisory reference for consideration
- SSN and copy of driver’s license required for consideration
