We deliver reliable roofing solutions and a seamless customer experience from inspection through installation, building long-term relationships rather than one-off transactions.
Role Overview: We are recruiting for a residential roofing company in Richmond, TX that is expanding its field sales team. This posting is for two experienced roofing professionals: one full-cycle Sales Closer and one Roofing Canvasser.
Both roles are field-based and ideal for individuals who are comfortable working outdoors, climbing roofs, and operating independently in a performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Roofing Sales Closer (Full-Cycle)
- Generate your own residential roofing leads through referrals, canvassing, networking, and neighborhood outreach
- Conduct roof inspections and clearly explain findings to homeowners
- Complete accurate takeoffs, estimates, and proposals (systems training provided)
- Present pricing and scope professionally and close your own deals
- Manage all leads, activity, and follow-ups in CRM
- Schedule sold jobs and ensure smooth handoff to production
- Collect payments and maintain proper job documentation
- Maintain a consistent pipeline through disciplined follow-up and activity
Roofing Canvasser (Lead Generation)
- Generate qualified residential roofing leads through door-to-door canvassing and neighborhood outreach
- Identify storm damage or homeowner roofing needs and collect accurate lead information
- Set qualified opportunities for the sales closer
- Represent the company professionally in the field
- Maintain consistent activity and follow company safety and conduct standards
Requirements
- Prior roofing sales or canvassing experience required
- Insurance claim experience required
- Comfortable climbing ladders and walking roofs
- Able to follow all safety protocols and company guidelines
- Proper roofing shoes and safety awareness required
- Strong communication and homeowner-facing skills
- Organized, responsive, and reliable
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Drug- and alcohol-free while working
What We Offer
Sales Closer
- Commission-only (1099) with uncapped earning potential
- 30% commission, with additional 5% performance increase after 30-day review

- $180 per qualified lead after closing

Additional Notes
- $50/week gas allowance for the first 30 days (both roles)
- Performance reviews conducted after 30 days with opportunity for raises or bonuses
- Strong demand for residential roofing services, including storm-related work
