Job DescriptionSalary: $20 - $35 Hourly DOE 
Cal-Ore Telephone Co, located in Dorris CA, is seeking a full-time Accountant. Cal-Ore provides an excellent work environment, including benefits. Salary is market competitive and commensurate with experience.
 
Duties:
<ul>
<li>Completion of monthly accounting close process</li>
<li>Preparation of monthly financial statements</li>
<li>Preparation of workpapers supporting the annual tax returns</li>
<li>Assist with preparation for annual audit</li>
<li>Payroll</li>
<li>Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time. </li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>2 years of Accounting experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of GAAP</li>
<li>Exceptional computer skills including Excel and applications</li>
<li>Experience with accounting software, stand alone, and integrated</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Degree in accounting, finance, or another relevant field</li>
<li>Telecommunication and Part 32 accounting experience</li>
<li>Experience with multi state jurisdictions</li>
<li>Internal/external auditing experience</li>
</ul>
