Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ICU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Deliver expert critical care nursing in a dynamic Level II Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, specializing in adult trauma, post-surgical management, vascular, and neuro surgery patients. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care to complex cases while working with a dedicated interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor 1:1 to 1:3 patient ratios in an 8-bed ICU setting.
- Provide comprehensive care to adult trauma and post-operative surgical patients, including general, vascular (e.g., carotid), and neurosurgical cases.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience.
- Proven expertise in critical care nursing, with familiarity in adult trauma and surgical patient management.
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly in emergent situations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
