SpineSearch is partnering with a leading NYC-based hospital system to recruit a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic, rapidly growing academic orthopedic practice.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a renowned pediatric orthopedic surgeon in a collaborative environment focused on providing comprehensive care to pediatric and adolescent patients.

The Opportunity:
\n
• Pediatric orthopedic and musculoskeletal patient care in an outpatient setting
\n
• Evaluate and treat new, follow-up, and postoperative patients
\n
• Work collaboratively with orthopedic surgeons, fellows, residents, nurses, therapists, and other multidisciplinary teams
\n
• Coordinate non-operative treatment, including PT, rehabilitation, bracing, imaging, and pain management
\n
• Provide postoperative care, including wound checks, casting/bracing, and patient/family education
\n
• Participate in inpatient rounding as assigned
\n
• Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation, orders, and care coordination
\n

Ideal Candidate:
\n
✔️ Pediatric orthopedic experience preferred
\n
✔️ NP or PA with strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
\n
✔️ Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
\n
✔️ Passion for working with pediatric and adolescent patients
\n
For Nurse Practitioners:
\n
• Master’s degree in Nursing
\n
• 3+ years of nursing or related experience
\n
• NYS RN & NP licenses
\n
• ANCC Board Certification
\n
• BLS & DEA certification
