Purpose:
The Enterprise Strategy Initiatives Lead will lead a team focused on multi-disciplinary projects (collectively “Projects”) critical for enterprise growth, supporting both internal and external customers (collectively “Customers”) with business development, consulting, project management, and strategic planning support. The individual and his/her team will work with leaders and teams in the Business Operations, Strategy, Business Development, Technology, Client Services, Implementation, Technology, and Analytics departments, as well as with external clients, to craft, track, and execute actionable strategies that position the Customer for long-term success. The individual will be responsible for collaborating to develop strategies, managing resource allocation and budgets, and establishing and executing on robust and coordinated project plans to implement or change systems, programs, strategies, and other enterprise initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Customers to develop and implement strategies associated with the implementation or change of enterprise-impacting systems, programs, strategies, and initiatives (Projects).
- Interface with Customers directly to collect Project requirements, providing consultative input to support strategy optimization.
- Manage resource considerations of Projects to ensure that resource utilization goals are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Project strategy design reflects the requirements of all affected by a Project.
- Coordinate project management of assigned Projects, including timeline management, progress update delivery, and team coordination.
- Coordinate with Project stakeholders and company leaders to ensure Projects are prioritized according to dynamic company needs.
- Incorporate measurable goals and success indicators in Projects to track and report on Project progress and success, suggesting corrective actions if Projects are not meeting desired goals.
- Develop deliverable materials, including presentations, documents, and content for marketing materials, in support of Projects.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and develop new strategic growth opportunities, capabilities, and differentiators for RareMed and RareMed’s customers.
- Lead a team of individuals supporting associated strategic initiatives, including supporting performance management and recruiting as necessary.
- Facilitate updating RareMed’s Business Plan to align with current operations and future capabilities.
- Continue development of expertise in the intricacies of pharmacy HUBs, specialty pharmacy networks, and complex patient therapies to enhance abilities to suggest and lead strategic initiatives.
- Serve as an ambassador of RareMed’s culture and values.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Leadership experience in a relevant healthcare organization
- Experience leading strategic initiatives and change management
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask while efficiently and independently completing high quality work.
- Excellent analytical, written, negotiating, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills with an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong decision -making and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree or Certification in Business or Project Management
- 10+ years in a leadership role
- 5+ years in a strategic leadership role
- Acumen in Pharmaceutical Hub Services, Pharmaceutical Hub Technologies, etc.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and teleworking from the employee’s home address listed in their employment file. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. When telecommuting employees must have reliable internet access in order to access required systems and software associated with the position's responsibilities. The amount of time the employee is expected to work per day or pay period will not change as a result of participation in the teleworking program. Employees are responsible for the set-up of their home office environment, including physical set-up, internet connection, phone line, electricity, good lighting, comfortable temperature, furniture, etc. Employee’s teleworking space should be separate and distinct from their “home space” and allow for privacy. RareMed expects employees teleworking to be as efficient and professional as if they were in the office. The amount of time spent in office or teleworking is contingent upon the needs/priorities of RareMed and will vary based on those needs/priorities.
