Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist
Job Location: Rochester, NY 14621-3099
Duration: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)
Shift: Night Shift – 4x10-hour shifts (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM), Friday–Monday

Pay Rate: $2,600 – $2,800 (Weekly Gross)

Position Summary:

The Travel MRI Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality MRI procedures with a strong focus on patient safety, image accuracy, and compassionate care. This role requires collaboration with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal imaging outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures with a high standard of accuracy and safety.

• Prepare patients and MRI equipment; administer contrast media as required.

• Collaborate with radiologists to optimize imaging protocols and techniques.

• Document all imaging procedures and patient care accurately.

• Provide excellent patient support, comfort, and customer service.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the MRI work area.

• Follow all safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and facility policies.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine license with injection certification.

• Minimum of 2+ years of MRI experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures.

• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Education & Certifications:

• ARRT(R)(MR) certification required.

• BLS certification required.

• Must meet all credentialing and compliance requirements.
