Job DescriptionSummary:

The main function of the Student Management Coordinator is to assist the Student Management Manager in coaching the employees of the Student Management Team on items relating to performance, process, professional development, customer service, and compliance. A successful candidate should have shown an ability to teach, coach, and motivate at a high level. This person should also have a good understanding of operational workflow, process adherence, compliance standards, and telecommunications in the distance education industry. A high-level skill set in interoffice communication and networking skills is a requirement. This person should thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving work environment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the Student Management Manager for staff training and development for time management and customer service

  • Assist in the development of strategies and initiatives to improve retention on a higher level

  • Assess student retention and attrition patterns to communicate with faculty and student management advisors

  • Review and collect data from Campus Nexus Student Management for:
    • Student population follow up for last day of attendance and non-registered
    • Weekly and monthly retention rate analysis based on a monthly budget

  • Employee schedule development and adherence

  • Document and bring to the attention of the Manager any applicable employee issues (i.e. attendance, behavioral, performance, etc.)

  • Audit the Retention SharePoint site

  • Auditing calls and activities from CVUE of the Student Management Advisor

  • Monthly evaluation of the Advisors for quality assurance, production, attendance and punctuality

Language Skills:

  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English

  • Effective oral and written communication

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common technical reports and legal documents

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear.
