Job Description

PRN Retail Pharmacist Needed Day Shift | Los Alamos & Santa Fe, NM

Assignment Dates: September 29 to October 10
(One week assigned at the Los Alamos location followed by one week at the Santa Fe site)

Shift Info: Start times are flexible between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM, aligning with pharmacy hours.
Pharmacy Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM; Saturday, 9:00 AM 2:00 PM (Weekend rotation required)

Technology Platform: Pioneer Pharmacy System

Primary Duties:

Supervise and support pharmacy technician team
Provide outstanding patient counseling and customer service
Verify USP 800 Non-Sterile compounded prescriptions (verification only; compounding is not performed)
Los Alamos pharmacy processes around 600 prescriptions daily, while Santa Fe handles approximately 150 prescriptions per day without compounding services

Candidate Requirements:

Active and valid New Mexico Pharmacist License
Familiarity with non-sterile compounding is a plus but not essential
Experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment preferred
New graduates are encouraged to apply
