Job DescriptionYour ImpactAs a Buyer at Nekoosa, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running efficiently and cost-effectively. You’ll be responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely deliveries—keeping our production lines moving and our customers satisfied. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is looking to grow in supply chain or procurement.What You’ll Be Doing
- Procurement & Vendor Management: Source raw materials, maintain strong supplier relationships, and ensure on-time delivery
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to support seamless production scheduling
- Order Processing & Data Management: Place and track purchase orders, update records, and ensure ERP accuracy
- Market Research: Identify trends and cost-saving opportunities across vendors and materials
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Production, Planning, Customer Service, and Finance to streamline procurement
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Associate’s degree + 1 year of experience also considered)
- Experience in procurement, planning, or inventory management is a plus
- Strong organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Comfort with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Enthusiasm to grow and learn within a dynamic supply chain environment
