Account Executive:
- Maintain and oversee customer accounts assigned to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service in all aspects when dealing with customers both written and verbal.
- Build and expand relationships with customers by assisting them with product questions, promotions, warranty, pricing, lead times, order status, tracking, repair and other items as directed by the customer.
- Work with all parties involved to resolve and process warranty claims, inspections, documents to consumers and reorders.
- Extensive product knowledge and ability to trouble-shoot concerns brought forward from customers and reps.
- Communicate extensively with other departments to assist customers with quotes, drawings, data and other requests.
- Must have a clear understanding of pricing structures and able to quote, correct pricing and clearly explain pricing to customers.
- Process RGA’s and other documents from Merlin correctly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to resolve issues pertaining to measuring, dimensions, fit, missing data, inspections, pricing, customer service and all other Merlin processes.
- General clerical responsibilities that include but not limited to updating database files with data relative to order/quote, contact information and WSN’s.
- Process rebates, credits and assist with handling issues regarding lack of payment.
- Managing of accounts to bring forward targets that need attention.
- Work with reps / Sales notifying of customer concerns and potential to gain or loss of business.
- Process quotes, orders, and conversion during peak times.
- Create new accounts, link ALT ID’s and update orders correctly per guidelines set forth from the department
Applies to all areas within the A.E. Department.
- Provide excellent customer service and professionalism when dealing with co-workers and customers.
- Maintain positive attitude and portray a pro-Merlin tone.
- Communicate needs for missing data with customers and other Team Members as needed.
- Work within the department to collaborate, train and assist all Team Members.
- Understand and follow guidelines set forth from both Merlin and AE Department.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal in dealing with team members and customers.
- Complete product knowledge of Merlin offerings including Sales programs, processes, and product lines.
- Understand and able to navigate through Foxpro, Viewer and other database files.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
Other Tasks
- Travel to attend customer sales functions including round table, warehouse events, open houses and distributor shows where the main function is to discuss and promote Merlin’s offerings.
- Delivery of Merlin Goods and customer visits.
- Understand measuring process and offer customer assistance during extreme situations.
- Work with shipping, freight carriers, and Navisphere to assist customers.
- Work off-schedule hours during peak and show seasons.
