Weare seeking a Dental Therapist (ADT or DT) to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. Inthis role, you will provide educational, clinical, and therapeutic services tochildren and adults under the general supervision of a dentist. This is anexcellent opportunity to work in a flexible schedule while making a meaningfulimpact on community oral health.


KeyResponsibilities:

  • Providepreventive, restorative, and therapeutic dental care to patients.
  • Educatepatients and communities on oral health and disease prevention.
  • Performcomprehensive patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
  • Collaboratewith dentists, hygienists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure thebest patient outcomes.
  • Delivercare in various settings, including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, grouphomes, and Head Start centers.
  • Maintainaccurate patient records and documentation using Open Dental software.
  • Followall public health guidelines and best practices in dental therapy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’sor Master’s degree in Dental Therapy or Advanced Dental Therapy from theUniversity of Minnesota or Metropolitan State University.
  • ActiveMN Dental Therapy License required.
  • CurrentCPR (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or the American RedCross.
  • Knowledgeof public health principles and practices preferred.
  • Comprehensiveknowledge of primary dental care and periodontal patient care.
  • Strongcommunication skills in English; additional language skills preferred based onclinic location.
  • Abilityto travel on occasion as needed.
  • Successfulcompletion of general and DHS background checks.
  • Proficiencyin computer systems, including Open Dental and Microsoft Office.
