A skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room is needed for a contract position in Solvang, CA. This role requires experience in conscious sedation and a minimum of one year of nursing practice, with a strong preference for candidates who have eye care experience. Qualifications and Experience:
- Must have proven conscious sedation experience
- Minimum of one year nursing experience; eye care experience highly preferred
- Current licensure in the state of California
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shift: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (5x8 hours)
Responsibilities:
- Provide proficient perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
- Administer conscious sedation safely and effectively following protocols
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic charting
- Adhere to all regulatory and facility standards of care
