Sales Account Manager
We invite you to explore a career with Kinetic by applying for the Sales Account Manager position, based in San Jose, CA. In this position, you will contribute your sales account management experience to help execute a sales plan for Kinetics analog and digital circuits for a wide range customer applications.
Duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
- Generate and manage new sales orders for assigned accounts.
- Achieve objectives for profitable revenue growth by penetrating accounts, generating new profitable accounts, and other sales objectives as determined by executive management.
- Formulate and execute a sales plan and strategy that achieves broad penetration at the strategic networking account in alignment with marketing roadmaps.
- Establish and maintain personal contact with key client decision makers to provide effective information flow to and from Kinetic executive management.
- Prepare and present an annual sales plan based on projected market conditions, customer status and product availability.
- Manage timely communication of business level activity for forecasting and reporting.
- Coordinate with Kinetic Product Lines for customer program bids and price negotiations to identify and assess new opportunities for existing products as well as opportunities for new product development.
- Coordinate sales operations with all other departments/divisions of the Company, including collaboration and support with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and R&D to support profitable account management.
- Utilization of CRM for new sales opportunities and account management.
- Stay abreast of Semiconductor Industry news to be aware of trends that affect the long- and short-term sales plans.
Qualifications:
- BSEE BS in Business or equivalent.
- Engineering background is preferred with a background in Analog and Digital ICs.
- Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor products is required.
- Prior experience and successful track record with managing profitable accounts.
- Exemplary Business development & Sales experience.
- Ability to drive the development and execution of strategic sales accounts.
- A positive individual that will have fun, promote teamwork, and contribute to a cooperative effort with clients and Kinetic colleagues.
- A minimum of 3 years sales experience selling IC or semiconductor related products.
