Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis. This position offers flexibility in hours and remote work opportunities but requires candidates to be local to San Jose, California. Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle payroll activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and deadlines.
• Maintain financial records and bookkeeping tasks to support the company’s operations.
• Assist the sales team with administrative duties, including vendor onboarding and management.
• Create and process purchase orders as part of sales support functions.
• Collaborate closely with vendors to ensure smooth transactions and relationships.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the team as needed.
• Support the sales team with day-to-day operational needs, ensuring efficiency and organization.• Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and relevant compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling financial tasks.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and onboarding processes.
• Proficiency in creating and processing purchase orders.
• Previous experience in providing administrative and sales support is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• Must be local to San Jose, California, and available for flexible working hours.
