Schedule: Full-Time | Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 8-Hour Shifts

Compensation

  • $30.00 – $42.00 per Hour
  • Midpoint: $36.00 per Hour
  • Based on experience

Sign-On Bonus

  • $15,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Available for eligible external candidates

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician to support physicians and the cardiovascular team during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures. The ideal candidate will be skilled in scrubbing, circulating, monitoring, and operating specialized cardiovascular equipment while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and procedural excellence.

Required Education

  • Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent training

Required Certifications

  • CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist) Certification, RCIS Certification, or ARRT Certification
  • Current BLS Certification (AHA)
  • Current ACLS Certification (AHA)

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Technologist experience
    OR
  • ARRT-certified candidate with Cath Lab experience

Key ResponsibilitiesProcedure Support

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and invasive cardiovascular procedures
  • Perform scrub, monitoring, and circulating responsibilities
  • Prepare patients, equipment, and supplies for procedures
  • Maintain a safe and sterile procedural environment

Equipment & Technical Operations

  • Operate cardiovascular imaging and procedural equipment
  • Follow ALARA radiation safety standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and procedural techniques

Patient Care & Safety

  • Monitor patient status during procedures
  • Assist with emergency interventions and critical situations
  • Maintain infection prevention and patient safety standards
  • Support physicians, nurses, and cardiovascular team members throughout procedures

Inventory & Department Operations

  • Maintain adequate procedural supplies and inventory levels
  • Assist with equipment readiness and department workflow
  • Support efficient daily Cath Lab operations
