The Opportunity
We are seeking a construction professional with experience on large-scale projects ($20M+) to join the team as an Assistant Project Manager. This position offers direct exposure to both the administrative and field sides of construction management, working alongside seasoned leaders in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
You will be the main on-site point of contact for the project, working closely with the Project Superintendent and Executive Project Manager to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with estimating during preconstruction to review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Create scopes of work that capture both company and contractual standards.
- Manage procurement of subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document flow.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and quality benchmarks.
- Support field operations by partnering with the Superintendent on daily site activities.
- Foster positive client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years in construction project management (multifamily preferred, wood-frame experience a plus).
- Experience with projects $20M+.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software (Procore experience ideal).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proven track record of problem-solving and delivering results under pressure.
