Job DescriptionJob Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional to produce high-quality radiographic images while ensuring a compassionate and supportive interaction with all patients. This role involves performing essential quality control tasks as required by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA, either as a designated Quality Control technologist or under their guidance. Depending on the facility, the position may also require the use of general radiography skills to conduct diagnostic radiology exams, perform bone densitometry (DEXA), or carry out specialized breast procedures in collaboration with medical staff.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program that meets the standards for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Certification as a Washington Radiologic Technologist.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Within one year of hire, obtain National Registered Technologist - Mammography certification.
  • A minimum of two years of full-time experience in mammography.

Compensation

The wage range for this position is provided, including both minimum and maximum rates. Additional compensation opportunities may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonuses.
