Job Summary:
- Experienced Deburr & Grind Operator will grind and deburr metal parts for custom builds
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ability to use hand tools
- Requires removal of burrs & rough edges from a variety of sheet metal parts.
- Ability to operate power tools
- Read blueprints/drawings to determine specifications and dimensions.
- Ability to read Bills of materials for builds
- Requires repetitive use of hands sanding and polishing, grinding, and finishing
- Clean and maintain equipment and tools (replacing abrasive pads as needed)
- Promote a positive team environment by following all company and safety policies.
- At all times project a favorable image of the organization.
- Ability to stand continuously up to 8 hours per day
- Follow the organization’s grooming and dress standards.
- Keep the Department Lead promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
- Perform all duties and responsibilities asked of you in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
- Perform any other job duties as requested by the Department Lead or Management.
- Loads and unloads materials into or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Lifts heavy objects by hand or with appropriate lifting support
- Keep work areas and spaces clean.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
· Able to remain professional and courteous always.
· Ability to adapt and work in a very fast paced environment
Education and Experience:
· Sheet metal manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift to up to 50 pounds.

Base Compensation: based on experience
