We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency while working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Utilize RF scanners to accurately pick orders from inventory.
- Operate heavy equipment, including pallet jacks and cranes, to move products safely within the warehouse.
- Build and organize pallets for shipping, ensuring that all items are securely packed.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as needed, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to facilitate smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
- Ability to lift heavy items consistently throughout the shift.
- Experience using RF scanners for inventory management is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
