An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide specialized support in an elementary school setting in Savannah, GA. This full-time, contracted position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills within a dynamic educational environment. The assignment runs from early January through late May 2026, with an additional 9-12 week maternity leave coverage opportunity starting in February 2026 at a K-8 location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to elementary school students, addressing diverse communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, monitor progress, and maintain detailed documentation of student growth.
- Participate in team meetings and provide consultation as needed to support student success.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
- Active Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC).
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary age groups.
- Ability to work onsite full-time with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Location:Savannah, Georgia Onsite assignment at an elementary school with potential additional assignments at K-8 levels.
