Location: Ventura, CA
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00
Our client is seeking a Project Manager or to lead affordable housing developments from site acquisition through construction completion and occupancy. This role is responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, financing, consultants, and public agency approvals while helping create high-quality housing that serves the community.
Key Responsibilities
Project Development
- Identify and evaluate development opportunities.
- Manage entitlements, permits, and agency approvals.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Develop project schedules and budgets.
- Lead community and stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Prepare and maintain project proformas and financial models.
- Coordinate financing applications, including LIHTC and public funding sources.
- Work with lenders, investors, attorneys, and funding agencies.
- Manage due diligence and financing closings.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and construction progress.
- Review change orders and monthly draw requests.
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams.
- Support successful project turnover and lease-up.
- Maintain project documentation and reporting.
- Build strong relationships with public agencies and community partners.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure project success.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Structure complex financing transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Planning, Public Policy, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in affordable housing or real estate development.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 5+ years of affordable housing or real estate development experience.
- Proven success managing projects through all phases of development.
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
