Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract Options
Pay Range: $42$60+/hour (based on experience and employment path)

Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in Cypress, Texas. This full-time opportunity is open to both local SLPs seeking long-term stability and travel clinicians looking for flexible, higher-paying placements.

Position Overview:
As a school-based SLP, youll work with K12 students to support communication, speech, language, and pragmatic language development. Youll work collaboratively with IEP teams, educators, and families to conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and track student progress.

Employment Options:

  1. Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):

  2. Full school-year contract (AugustMay)

  3. Weekly pay: $42$52/hour (based on experience and credentials)

  8. Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

  9. Flexible contracts (semester-based or short-term 412 weeks)

  10. Weekly pay: $52$60+/hour (based on experience and travel status)

  11. Weekly gross: $1,900$2,200 including tax-free stipends (if applicable)

  12. Housing, meals, and relocation stipends available

  13. Credentialing and state licensure support for travel clinicians

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language services in individual and group settings

  • Complete evaluations and assessments and determine eligibility

  • Write, implement, and monitor IEPs following Texas DOE guidelines

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families

  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Active Texas SLP License (or ability to obtain)

  • ASHA CCCs preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply

  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Must be able to pass background and fingerprint checks
