Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) to provide pediatric home health services. This role includes evaluation, treatment planning, and direct intervention services to support children in reaching their developmental and functional goals.
This position offers flexibility and autonomy while maintaining strong clinical collaboration and leadership support.
Schedule Options: 1099 Independent Contractor
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and establish functional goals
- Provide engaging, play-based therapy aligned with client needs
- Address areas including fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care/ADLs, visual-motor integration, executive functioning, and social participation
- Educate and coach caregivers on strategies for home carryover
- Supervise and support COTAs (if applicable) in accordance with state regulations
- Complete documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with families, other providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
- Current CPR certification
- Article 9 certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently in a home health setting
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills
