**$20,000 Sign-On Bonus***

SHIFT: Day Shift (7 AM - 7 PM)

JOB TYPE: Full-time (3 shifts per week)

FACILITY TYPE: 20-bed Small-Format Hospital (10 ER, 10 Inpatient)

Position Overview

This role is designed to fulfill the essential duties of a nurse, including assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care.

Essential Job Functions

• Organize, prioritize, and deliver effective nursing care that is age-specific and tailored to developmental or specialty needs, ensuring patient and family comfort and safety.
• Implement physician's orders in the provision of nursing care.
• Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality of records at all times.
• Comply with infection control protocols, isolation procedures, and aseptic techniques during patient care.
• Collect lab samples and conduct testing in line with established policies and regulations, including COLA and CLIA.
• Execute admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
• Prepare equipment and supplies for various diagnostic or treatment procedures in the specialty area; perform or assist with procedures or treatments.
• Deliver care in accordance with legal, hospital, departmental policies, and established nursing standards as defined by the State Board of Nursing.

Other Job Functions

• Conduct all assigned Quality Assessment activities and document findings.
• Participate in staff meetings or other required company-sponsored gatherings.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• An Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Must hold a current state license as a Registered Nurse without sanctions.
• A minimum of 2 years of full-time RN experience in Telemetry/ICU, or a combination of 2 years in related healthcare roles is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are required; PALS certification is strongly preferred (ENPC certification from ENA may substitute for PALS).
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary.
• For Pennsylvania RN's: Act 33 (Child Abuse History Clearance) and Act 73 (FBI Fingerprint Criminal History Clearance) must be completed within the last 5 years or obtained prior to the start date.
