New York State Automobile Dealers Association, (NYSADA), a statewide association representing nearly 1000 dealers across NYS has an open position for a Health & Safety (Field) Inspection Representative.

Position Description: This is Full time Position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

§ Conducting health & safety, inspections with inclusion of (potential) OSHA issues providing a summary report of observations based on a template assessment with proposed corrective action(s).

§ Provide OSHA penalty support assistance when applicable

§ Coordinate safety training through partner Insurance Company

Minimum requirements preferred:

§ High School Diploma (minimum) with working/valid license; preference is a Bachelor’s Degree.

Position Goals are for a working knowledge of:

§ Automotive Health & Safety Standards

§ OSHA standards, protocol and requirements,

§ NYS Workers Compensation system

Position expectation and Benefits:

§ Minimum 50%, overnights during traditional working week when applicable
