Provide expert emergency nursing care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a freestanding emergency department. Location:
Position is based in Dover, NH, an inviting city known for its rich history and scenic surroundings. Dover offers a welcoming community with excellent amenities and easy access to coastal attractions and outdoor recreational activities, making it a great place to live and work.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
- Every Other Weekend coverage required, no on-call duties
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency patients in an 11-bed unit
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to implement patient-centered care plans
- Perform clinical procedures consistent with a full-service emergency department
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for accurate documentation
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to established policies and protocols
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years hospital emergency department experience required
- Active compact RN license at time of application
- Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC or ENPC
- Experience in a freestanding emergency department preferred
- Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and autonomous working ability
- Certifications such as CEN, CPEN, or TCRN are a plus
