• Can you read complex blueprints and job travelers without missing a detail?

What you'll handle

• Setting up and operating manual and CNC lathes in line with work instructions, prints, and specs.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and travelers to plan operations.
• Selecting cutting tools, fixtures, and materials appropriate to each job.
• Monitoring machine performance to hold dimensions and meet quality requirements.
• Performing in-process checks using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Applying minor offsets and adjustments as needed.
• Maintaining a safe, orderly workstation per company safety policies.
• Documenting production information and communicating issues to supervision.
• Coordinating with teammates to achieve production schedules.
• Supporting additional duties as assigned.

What you need

• Prior experience on manual and/or CNC lathes preferred.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments.
• Basic understanding of machining methods, tooling, and material behavior.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-first approach.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
