Typical Job Duties:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students to support their educational goals and enhance participation in daily school activities.

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement interventions that address students needs.

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other related service providers to ensure integrated support for each student.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current Virginia licensure as an Occupational Therapist issued by the Virginia Board of Medicine or eligibility to obtain one.

• Compliance with all federal and state education and licensure requirements for school-based occupational therapists in Virginia.

• Successful background check and fingerprint clearance in accordance with state and district guidelines.
