Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Create, maintain, and update accurate project schedules and 3-week look ahead.
• Follow company policies and procedures and model our company culture.
• Maintain a safe work environment, per OSHA standards, and conduct safety meetings on-site.
• Recognize and resolve on-site challenges and issues.
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
• Communicate with project team regarding Drawings, RFI’s, and Material Submittals.
• Ensure that subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
• Maintain daily logs of activities on the job site.
• Become proficient in, and utilize AutoDesk.
• Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team.
• Walk project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning.
• Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.
• Issue notices of non-compliance to subcontractors where required.
• Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
• Ensure proper signage is posted on-site.
• Perform job progress and punch list identification and completion.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (any additional experience a plus)
• 5+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent supervising project teams
• Prior experience with commercial tenant improvements and ground-up builds (banking and retail project experience strongly preferred)
• A proven track record of successful budgeting, negotiating, and scheduling
• Must be able to read and interpret the project design and plans correctly
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Programs, project management software (Autodesk or similar), & scheduling software (MS Project or similar)
