Our client, Plastics Manufacturing is seeking a Mold Operator to join their team. As a Mold Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing team supporting warehouse shipping department. The ideal candidate will have ability to work with a team, attention to detail and read instructions which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mold Operator
Location: O'fallon
Pay Range: 18.50
What’s the Job?
Performs mold changeovers and preventative maintenance cleaning.
· Operates machines and performs/assures quality inspections are performed.
· Prioritizes work to maintain maximum production efficiency and reduce costs, follows work orders to eliminate inventory overruns and minimize scrap costs.
· May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
What’s Needed?
High school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and perform math at the equivalent level
· Strong mechanical aptitude, motivated and the ability to work with minimal supervision
· Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand during assembly process
· Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
