RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

\n

• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts including holidays and weekends
\n• 12 hours of orientation required
\n• Typical patient ratios of 4-5:1
\n• Care for patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
\n• Handle approximately 80 visits per day in a 30-room, 28-bed emergency department
\n• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI/CCM
\n• Must have experience with Cerner charting system
\n• Float within hospital when needed
\n• May be asked to float to sister facilities within 10-mile radius
\n• Valid PA license or Compact license required
\n• Must complete fingerprinting within 24-48 hours of signing
\n• Must complete 15-panel drug screen within 24-48 hours of signing
\n• Clock in/out using badge with timesheet approval by supervisor or manager only
\n• Non-billable modules required prior to facility entry

This hospital features a comprehensive emergency department that is stroke certified and serves as a chest pain referral hospital with an associated adolescent psychiatric facility. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support. The emergency department treats patients of all ages and diagnoses, maintaining high standards of care with modern equipment and comprehensive support services.
