Position: Dental Hygienist

Location: 1000 N Neltnor Blvd, West Chicago, Illinois 60185

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to become a part of our team!

Work Schedule

  • Monday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:45 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Thursday: 6:45 AM - 4:00 PM

Appointments for recare are 60 minutes, while new patient visits are 90 minutes. Scaling and root planing (SRP) sessions last between 60 to 90 minutes, with flexibility based on the hygienist's needs.

We offer bi-weekly hourly compensation, with the option to enroll in Daily Pay for immediate access to earned wages. Additionally, there are opportunities for daily and quarterly bonuses!

Our practice is equipped with advanced tools such as Arestin, iTero, and Velscope, along with coverage for continuing education.

To qualify for the full benefits package, full-time employees must work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays, a 401(k) plan, dental and vision coverage, wellness benefits, and more!

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required).
  • Strong understanding of dental practices, hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • Current CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Open to both new graduates and experienced hygienists!
  • Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care.
  • Clinical requirements as needed by the office.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office or supervising doctor, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds as necessary.
  • Availability for periodic virtual or in-person training sessions throughout the year.
  • As part of our commitment to a safe environment for both staff and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment, with arrangements made during the pre-employment process. This does not apply in Florida and Tennessee.
