Position Overview

Global Environmental & Industrial Response is seeking dedicated Environmental Technicians to join our Environmental Division. In this role, you will carry out daily field and industrial service activities safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations. Technicians support a wide range of services, including emergency response, waste management, environmental remediation, and oil field operations.

Essential Functions

• Perform physical labor, including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects.
• Identify, remove, load/unload, transport, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Remain available for 24/7 emergency response on a rotating schedule.
• Maintain all required training and certifications (DOT, OSHA, and company-specific).
• Comply with ongoing and random drug testing and physical exams as required.
• Participate actively in daily and weekly safety meetings to ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Properly maintain and operate company-issued equipment and tools.
• Clean and decontaminate equipment, tools, and work areas as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Ability to properly use and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform strenuous labor
• A valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel out of town on short notice for extended periods

Pay

• $18.00 - $25.00 / hr.
