A school-based psychologist position is available for the 2024-2025 academic year in Nashua, NH, providing services across K-12 settings. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and education teams to support student development and wellness throughout the school year.
Position Details:
- Location: Nashua, NH
- School Levels: K-12
- Contract Duration: Full academic year (August 2024 to June 2025)
- Work Setting: On-site
- Weekly Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours or more
- Open to new graduates seeking practical experience in school psychology
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to assist in student placement and interventions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance service delivery
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid school psychologist certification or eligibility as per state requirements
- Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and student development
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
