Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

A school-based psychologist position is available for the 2024-2025 academic year in Nashua, NH, providing services across K-12 settings. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and education teams to support student development and wellness throughout the school year.

Position Details:

  • Location: Nashua, NH
  • School Levels: K-12
  • Contract Duration: Full academic year (August 2024 to June 2025)
  • Work Setting: On-site
  • Weekly Hours: Approximately 37.5 hours or more
  • Open to new graduates seeking practical experience in school psychology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to assist in student placement and interventions
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
  • Support multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and contribute to school-wide initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to enhance service delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid school psychologist certification or eligibility as per state requirements
  • Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and student development
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional growth
