Be a part of a dynamic clinical team that provides collaborative therapy services for clients ages 2 to 14. We are searching for a fun, dynamic SLP to be a part of our team!
Speech-Language Pathologist Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or feeding difficulties.
- Write initial evaluations along with recommendations
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans and goals
- Provide 1:1 speech therapy sessions combined with a consultative collaborative coaching model.
- Provide counseling to clients’ and clients’ families about results of evaluation and recommended treatment options.
- Complete accurate documentation and reporting for all client visits, including daily SOAP notes, daily billing sheets, 6 month progress reports and yearly re-evaluations
- Train/Coach RBTs, BCBAs, and other MonArk Clinical team members about communication carryover in the clinic setting
- Collaborate with clinical team and communicate in a timely manner
- Keep a weekly up to date therapy schedule
- Be familiar with (or be willing to learn) Speech Generating Devices
- Delegate duties to support personnel as appropriate.
- Abide by ASHA’s code of ethics
Speech Pathologist Qualifications / Skills:
- Knowledge of Autism and related disorders
- Familiarity with a variety of speech, language, and developmental disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy, with knowledge of google platform a plus
- Ability to comply with all regulatory standards
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple facilities
- Willingness to use a combination of child-led therapy techniques along with positive reinforcement systems and behavioral techniques
- Strong time management skills
- Proficient in using both standardized and informal language assessments
- Be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team including ABA professionals, physical therapists, and occupational therapists
- Assume responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
- Have physical capability for completing safety care training
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Masters degree in speech language pathology or related field
- CF’s are welcome to apply!
- Active state of Ohio SLP license
- Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech- Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) credential offered by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or be in the process of starting your Clinical Fellowship year
- CPR certification

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
