Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the next school year at a K-12 school located in Neah Bay, WA. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting students' communication development in an educational setting.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with K-12 students in school settings
- Strong assessment, evaluation, and intervention skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and students
- Familiarity with current speech therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
Location: Neah Bay, Washington
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language screenings and evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech and language disorders
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Document and maintain accurate records of student performance and therapy sessions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success plans
