Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Speech-Language Pathologist License
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
• Familiarity with various school grade levels, especially K-12
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and parents
• Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of approximately 40 students

Location:

• Based in Colorado Springs, CO, serving multiple school sites within the district

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Support students across various grade levels, including preschool, elementary, and middle school
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
• Conduct evaluations and participate in team meetings to discuss student development
